Riverton is well known for its unit developments ranging from house behind house up to quadruplex. With this development, the client chose to nominate a Triplex with 3 larger homes as to 4 smaller ones. The design brief was to target 4 bedrooms plus a theatre. Unit number 1 aimed to have an elegant street frontage combined with a good first impression of the Entry. After 3 quotes from all very competitive builders, there was less than $3000 difference. We recommend the builder-based site visits within the area plus speaking to exiting clients. The homes were sold on completion. 

As a  rule of thumb, the middle unit is typically the last and hardest to sell out of a development. We made a strong recommendation to the Developer to allow unit two's internal area and features to be a level above units 1 & 2. The finished results spoke for themselves as this so-called "Unit" felt more like a residential home. 

Unit 3 ended up the customer’s favorite. It was far away from the street and offered the most privacy. Even though the rear area was an irregular shape we able to design the courtyard and alfresco areas to take advantage of the extra space. By not building in the acute angle area we were able to keep the plan efficient and very well priced. 

This triplex development is one of the best examples of ticking all boxes. The aim was to meet a very tight budget but still take advantage of the block’s natural size. The front unit sizing is larger than some Perth homes...

Unit number Two had more changes than all units combined due to the strict requirement from our developer to meet specific sizes and budget. In the end, we achieved an excellent result for a middle unit on a triplex block.

Rear unit designs are often the most popular and the first to sell in a triplex development. The design specification for this unit was to meet the expectations of the buyer - A large Kitchen, Theatre, Double vanity units to the master bedroom, and a decent-sized garage.
